BEWARE METAL BRUSH BRISTLES IN FRIED RICE!!!!!!!!!! My wife bit into a metal bristle from a cleaning brush. The waitress was very concerned and gave us comp on the fried rice. If that ends up in your intestines it can be deadly!!! Search it on google.... Thank god we were ok but she nearly broke a tooth. I don't know if I can eat there again. The food is pretty good but this one incident if ended differently could result in death. Its no joke.

Better experience sitting at bar for happy hour.

Great place. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because its a little pricey.

Very tasty. The room was a bit dark, and they played odd disco music.

The restaurant is first-rate and roomy, the menu was delightful and the prices were very inexpensive. quick, efficient service and very amiable waiters. Will definitely recommend this place.

I have been using them for years. Not only do they make fantastic food with a wide array of dishes, but they also have amazing plating and presentation. It's a perfect place for a date, business dinner or just a quick bite. We've also used then for catering, their white glove service is great and always strikes well with our executive guests.

The home delivery service is HORRIBLE. I tried it several times and it always takes over an hour. Will have to find a new place to order from.

I came in during lunch break for take out. They have indoor and outdoor dining available.Hostess took my order.I ordered the 3 roll lunch special for $14.Spicy tuna/spicy salmon/yellowtail scallion.Took 10-15 minutes to be ready.I did not get the spicy salmon roll I requested, instead got a 2nd order of spicy tuna. Came with a side salad and miso soup.It was a filling meal & enjoyed the sushi.

I visit this restaurant quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I go there routinely. The meals are excellent, the team is welcoming and the prices are fair. I enjoy meeting in this spot for a good meal.

Delicious, fresh sushi. Better then I have tasted in a long while on Long island. Great club like atmosphere but quite enough for a nice meal. Very attentive waitress.clean bathrooms, table service and sushi bar.

Their catering is better than the day to day lunch delivery. Nonetheless, I'm a regular.

Look at the sushi boat picture doesn't do it justice makes you want to have a party and invite all your friends leave the kids home! Lol Raman was good pork fell off in pieces. Great atmosphere clean rare in New York the bathrooms are spotless. The soy sauce dish had a chip in it but that's being picky. Busy but not crowded. The chefs and fresh fish were clean that's what you want in a sushi place.

Love, love, love it! I've been coming here for years and the food never disappoints.

Nisen, as always, has the freshest sashimi and fabulous salads, appetizers and cocktails!

I always arrive buying some food in this spot. I love the speedy service and well prepared dishes. Never disappointing.

At the first moment you arrive in this restaurant team give you an agreeable feeling. Very courteous stuff, it is a lovely restaurant to hang out with your friends or with your date. enjoyable cuisine, qualified chef, reasonable pay and generous service. Highly recommended.

I have been coming here since they opened and honestly....I have never been disappointed with the food. Over the years...the rolls and pieces have gotten smaller but yet they cost more....I guess that's to be expected though. The reason for 3 stars is the service. Our waitress this time barely spoke English and made ordering a challenge. The food came out slowly and in drops and drabs. We'd get one appetizer, then another 5 minutes later. They forgot one roll completely (hey...it happens)...but waited 20 minutes for our forgotten roll with a side of spicy mayo. The waitress had no idea what was going on. Our drinks also took forever to arrive....we ordered drinks with 3 different people and 10 minutes later, they finally arrived. It's not that we won't go back, but for a restaurant this highly rated and priced the way it is....we expect better. Good sushi places are a dime a dozen...and unfortunately Nisen isn't our favorite anymore.

The food is great but for the price and portion sizes, it's not worth it
